2022 Salary Survey

The 2022 survey of county officials' salaries is now available online. The entire document showing salaries for all elected county officials and the county auditors is linked above. We only publish this document in even-numbered years, which means there will not be a 2023 edition. This document has been altered since publication due to the following corrections:

  • Added Guadalupe County salary information, all offices, on May 16, 2022.
  • Corrected Rusk County Attorney’s salary data on May 20, 2022.
  • Corrected Loving County Attorney’s salary supplement data on May 20, 2022.
  • Corrected Rusk County Attorney’s salary on May 26, 2022.
  • Corrected travel allowances for all Webb County officials on June 1, 2022.
  • Corrected tax assessor-collector salary information for all counties on June 1, 2022.
  • Corrected salary data for Kerr County officials on July 5, 2022.
  • Corrected travel allowances for Montague County officials on July 5, 2022.
  • Corrected Hood County budget and bonded indebtedness data on July 7, 2022.

2020

2020 Salary Survey

The 2020 survey of county officials' salaries is now available online. This is the entire document showing salaries for all elected county officials and the county auditors. We only publish this document in even numbered years, which means there will not be a 2021 edition. This document has been altered since publication due to the following corrections:

  • Added Hays County salary information, all offices, on June 11, 2020.
  • Corrected Ellis County Sheriff's salary on March 3, 2021

  • Added Scurry County salary information, all offices, on April 30, 2014.
  • Corrected commissioners' salaries for Brazoria County on April 30, 2014.
  • Corrected Collin County judge's salary and sheriff's car allowance on May 5, 2014.
  • Corrected Comal County judge's salary and supplemental salary on May 5, 2014.
  • Added Hidalgo County salary information, all offices, on May 6, 2014.
  • Added Brown County salary information, all offices, on July 9, 2014.
  • Corrected Fort Bend County judge's information to show that the judge is NOT provided with a car on August 19, 2015.
