In-person CMRC option is back
This year's County Management & Risk Conference will be held April 6-8 at the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, and a virtual option will also be available to attendees.
The event will focus on a variety of timely topics ensuring cybersecurity, reducing auto claims, understanding laws that shape human resources policies, and understanding lessons learned from the pandemic. Ways to address and improve mental health will also be covered.
As with previous conferences, winners of the TAC Risk Management Pool Safety Awards will be formally announced during a banquet on the first night.
Registration for the conference is free for members of the Risk Management Pool and Health and Employee Benefits Pool. The nonmember registration fee is $100.
Members of TAC's pools can be reimbursed for conference travel expenses. A maximum of two people per county can be reimbursed.
Visit www.county.org/cmrc for details and to register. For more information about the conference and continuing education credits for attending, contact Deanna Auert at deannaa@county.org or Megan West at meganw@county.org or at (800) 456-5974.
