    West Texas Judges, Commissioners Meet

    More than 280 county judges and commissioners met April 19-22 in Arlington for the 93rd Annual West Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association Conference. The officials were able to obtain up to 14 hours of continuing education for commissioners and four hours of continuing education for county judges, plus four hours of optional pre-conference early-bird sessions.

    The association elected a new board during the conference:

    • President, Parmer County Commissioner Kirk Frye.
    • Vice President, Hutchinson County Judge Cindy Irwin.
    • Second Vice President, Oldham County Commissioner Roger Morris.
    • Immediate Past President, Tarrant County Judge B. Glen Whitley.
    • Director, Lamb County Judge Mike DeLoach.
    • Director, Mason County Commissioner Reggie Loeffler.
    • Director, Wise County Judge J.D. Clark.

    The Texas Association of Counties congratulates the association's new officers, and we look forward to providing our continued support to the organization and its members.

    The 94th Annual West Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association Conference will be held during April 25-28 next year at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center in Lubbock.
