|"A landowner is willing to trade good rock in exchange for one of our road crews to do some work on his private road. Can the county do the work on a private road?"|
May a county perform work on a private road?
It depends on the county's population. If the county's population exceeds 7,500, it cannot repair or maintain a private road or property under Tex. Const. Art. III, Sec. 52f.
