Denton County Treasurer Cindy Yeatts Brown will become President of the Texas Association of Counties (TAC) Board of Directors on Jan. 1. She will succeed Yoakum County Precinct 4 Commissioner Tim Addison, who will move into the ex officio role of Immediate Past President.

At its quarterly meeting Dec. 12, the Board elected McLennan County Tax Assessor-Collector Randy H. Riggs as President-Elect and Comal County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jen Crownover as Vice President. Both will assume their new roles Jan. 1 alongside Brown.

The new leadership team will serve two-year terms through the end of 2027. Brown, Riggs and Crownover have each previously led their respective county office associations.

TAC’s Board of Directors includes at least one county official from each county office. The Board oversees TAC’s policy, budget and services.
