The Texas Association of Counties will host its 2026 Legislative Conference on Aug. 26-28 in Austin. The event will again use TAC’s popular hybrid format, so county officials can attend in person or join online.

The conference will highlight major issues facing county government before the 90th Texas Legislature meets on Jan. 12, 2027. Attendees will be able to connect with other county leaders, state lawmakers and policy experts. Together, they will discuss legislative priorities and challenges that affect counties and the people they serve.

Registration costs $275 for in-person attendance and $200 for the virtual option. Early registration discounts are available through Aug. 6.
