once they have retired. That’s why we provide options for retiree medical coverage through trusted vendors. We have insurance plans available for groups with Medicare eligible retirees and their spouses who are enrolled in Medicare A and B.

The Texas Association of Counties Health and Employee Benefits Pool (TAC HEBP) partners with Amwins Group Benefits, LLC as the program administrator. Together, they oversee the Transamerica Retiree Medical Insurance Plan, underwritten by Transamerica Life Insurance Company (TLIC), along with the Medicare Part D prescription drug plan, Retiree RxCare underwritten by MedImpact, and the Medicare Advantage plan underwritten by Humana. The Amwins Program Includes:

- Disease management programs
- Wellness advice
- Various discount programs
- Resource services
Groups may select:
- - Retiree Medical Insurance Plan.
- - Retiree Medical Insurance Plan and a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan.
