Crime Stoppers Assistance Fund, FY2027

The Crime Stoppers Assistance Fund (FY2027), administered by the Texas Office of the Governor's Public Safety Office (PSO), provides approximately $400,000 to support and expand local certified Texas Crime Stoppers organizations. Eligible applicants include private non-profits or public organizations certified by the Texas Crime Stoppers Council that facilitate anonymous tip management, rewards, and information sharing with law enforcement or schools. Funding can be used for tip management software, advertising, non-law enforcement salaries, and travel for approved training. A priority for this cycle is the initiation or expansion of campus Crime Stoppers programming within public, private, or charter schools.
