Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Grant Program (FY2027)
The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Grant Program (FY2027), administered by the Texas Office of the Governor’s Public Safety Office (PSO), provides an estimated $800,000 to support multi-agency task forces in combatting technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and child pornography. Due to the highly specialized nature of the program, eligibility is strictly limited to the lead agencies of ICAC Task Forces recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice—specifically the Texas Office of the Attorney General, the City of Dallas, and the City of Houston. Funds may be used for investigator/prosecutor salaries and overtime, forensic equipment, software, and specialized training to enhance capabilities in tracking and prosecuting online offenders.
