PSRS API Integration Grant

The Public Safety Report System (PSRS) API Integration Grant reimburses counties and municipalities for the eligible costs of connecting a local jail management system or case management system to PSRS through an API. Integration reduces duplicate data entry, improves data accuracy, and supports more efficient workflows. The grant is administered by the Texas Office of Court Administration (OCA) and was funded by the 89th Texas Legislature.

Eligible applicants are Texas counties and municipalities, including their departments, offices, or divisions, that use PSRS and maintain a jail or case management system. Applicants must be the entity with a contract with the system vendor, hold a maintenance or support contract for the system, or otherwise be authorized to approve API work on it. Eligible costs include API development and configuration, vendor implementation services, IT consulting, data mapping, testing, directly related staff training, and project management. Ongoing costs such as licensing, maintenance, and subscriptions are not eligible. This is a reimbursement program, and advance payments are not available.
