State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program - Mitigation Projects

The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) - Mitigation Projects (FY 2027), administered by the Texas Office of the Governor's Public Safety Office (PSO), provides funding to local governments to implement technical security protections commensurate with cyber risk. Eligible applicants, including units of local government and federally recognized Native American tribes, can utilize funds for one-time services and investments such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Data Encryption, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Cloud Migration, and the implementation of Firewalls or Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
