State Crisis Intervention Grant Program (FY2027)

The State Crisis Intervention Grant Program (FY2027), funded through the federal Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (Byrne SCIP), supports projects aimed at preventing and reducing violence through essential crisis services for at-risk populations. Eligible applicants—including state agencies, local governments, non-profits, and mental health authorities—can apply for funds to support interpersonal violence intervention, behavioral health crisis screening, and violent crime prevention programs. Priority is given to initiatives such as domestic violence high-risk teams, community-based crisis facilities, and mobile crisis outreach teams.
