The Texas LEPC Grant Program
The Texas LEPC Grant Program, administered under the Tier II Chemical Reporting Program at TCEQ, provides state financial assistance to Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs) across Texas. Authorized under the Texas Health and Safety Code (THSC) and funded via Tier II chemical reporting fees, the grant allows LEPCs to establish, maintain, or improve their implementation of the federal Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).
