    Remembering Jonathan Collander

We’re deeply saddened by the passing of our colleague and friend, Jonathan Collander, Employee Benefits Consultant for the Northeast territory.

Jonathan had a gift for making people feel seen and appreciated. His quick wit, kind heart, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Whether he lit up a room with his smile as a game show host at Healthy County Boot Camp or donned a shark costume at County Management & Risk Conference, Jonathan brought heart and humor into every space he entered.

Jonathan joined the Texas Association of Counties in 2021 and quickly became a valued member of our team. Over the past four years, he built strong relationships both at TAC and with TAC members. His passion for helping others and his thoughtful approach to his work left a meaningful and lasting impact.

His absence will be deeply felt, and he will be missed more than words can express.

We wanted to share some memories of him from the last few years.
