Registration is now open for the Texas Association of Counties' 2024 Legislative Conference. The conference is scheduled to take place Aug. 28-30 in Austin.

The annual event explores statewide issues affecting county government and local taxpayers. This year's conference will help county officials and staff members prepare for the 89th Texas Legislature, set to convene Jan. 14, 2025.

Attendees will have ample opportunities to network with colleagues, engage with state lawmakers and connect with experts on various issues. Many county officials also can earn required continuing education credits during the conference.

The conference follows TAC's successful hybrid model. Registrants can choose to attend either in person or online.
