Requests for an Attorney General Opinion
RQ-0604-KP: State Rep. Gary Gates. Questions relating to the interpretation and application of certain immunization exclusions and exceptions under Education Code sections 38.001 and 51.933.
RQ-0605-KP: Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council. Questions the interpretation of “health care provider” under Tex. Health & Safety Code § 161.701(2) and associated issues relating to mental health care services.
RQ-0606-KP: Jim Hogg County Attorney. Questions the applicability and interpretation of Texas Education Code 11.067 relating to prohibitions on contracts with vendors that have a financial interest with board members.
RQ-0607-KP: Questions regarding a county’s rights, duties and responsibilities concerning the purchase of property restricted by a conservation easement and funded by a state agency grant.
RQ-0608-KP: House Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs. Questions the scope of municipalities’ authority to enter into intergovernmental support agreements with U.S. military installations.
