The Texas Association of Counties is gearing up for its 2026 Legislative Conference, scheduled for Aug. 26–28 in Austin. The event will bring together county leaders, legislators and policy specialists to discuss priorities ahead of the 90th Texas Legislature.

As in recent years, the conference is offering a hybrid experience, giving attendees the choice to participate in person or join virtually. Programming is designed to help counties get ready for the legislative session beginning Jan. 12, 2027, with an emphasis on the issues shaping county government and local communities.

Registration costs $275 for in-person attendance and $200 for the virtual option, with discounted early rates available through Aug. 6.
