    “In commissioners court today, the county judge voted on an agenda item. A citizen is adamant that the judge is only supposed to vote to break a tie.”

    Is the county judge a voting member of the commissioners court?

    Yes. The county judge is a full member of the commissioners court and has the right to vote on all matters before the court. Tex. Att’y Gen. Op. Nos. O-2145 (1940) and O-1716 (1939).
