Website Considerations
A county's website can be an incredibly effective resource for the public, but there are some considerations and requirements to keep in mind. Training includes topics on website posting requirements, records retention considerations, website accessibility and copyright issues – and a few best practices that may save your county time and money.
Upon completion of the training, you will receive a certificate of completion via email. Submit this confirmation to the appropriate coordinating body for credit.

Speaker
Paul Miles is an Associate General Counsel with the Texas Association of Counties (TAC). He worked at the elections division of the Secretary of State’s Office for 19 years advising state, county and local officials, candidates, and the general public in election law and procedures. Miles has been a frequent speaker at statewide conferences, including those conducted for regional election officials. He has been with TAC since March 2012.
