    The Texas Association of Counties (TAC) is the representative voice for all Texas counties and county officials.

    TAC’s Community Standards

    We ask all participants to:

    • Uphold the values of the “TAC Way.” And treat others with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.
    • Conduct themselves responsibly at all times; during sessions, networking, and social events.
    • Respect personal space and boundaries.

    TAC does not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct. This includes
    but is not limited to:

    • Harassment including unwelcome attention and physical contact, discrimination, or disruptive conduct.
    • Disparaging remarks, intimidation, or violence.

    TAC reserves the right to take appropriate action to ensure the safety and comfort of all
    participants. Consequences may include:

    • Removal from an event/conference without refund.
    • Notification to an employer, venue security, or law enforcement if warranted.

    If you experience or witness behavior that concerns you, please report issues to:
    TAC event staff at the event registration desk.

    • All reports will be handled promptly and respectfully
    • Reports are confidential and will be shared only with those directly responsible for addressing the situation. TAC prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports or participates in an investigation.
