    Texas County Storytellers

    Built to serve.

    County Voices

Hear from the heart and soul of our Texas counties, its people.

The Texas County Storytellers project was inspired by Wise County Judge J.D. Clark, who during his 2026-2027 term as president of the National Association of Counties, challenged county leaders to tell their stories because if they do not, someone else will. Share your own story or nominate another Texas county doing innovative work so we can highlight the people, programs, and ideas making a difference across our state.
