NACo President | Wise County Judge
Duties: The NACo (National Association of Counties) president serves as the chief elected official and primary spokesperson for the organization, representing counties at various events and to external parties. They preside over meetings, supervise the association's business, and appoint committees. The president also works to foster relationships with state associations, affiliates, and other partners.

NACo Board
Each year, the NACo president appoints 10 at-large members to the NACo Board of Directors. In addition to Judge Clark as NACo president, two other Texas county officials serve on the NACo Board.


NACo Committees, Caucuses and Councils
NACo is a member-driven organization made up of policy steering committees, standing committees, caucuses, ad hoc committees and councils. These bodies shape national policy priorities, guide internal initiatives and provide forums for peer exchange and leadership development. The NACo president appoints chairs and vice chairs.
