What is the difference between the terms “agenda” and “notice”?

A notice sets the time, place and date of a meeting, while the agenda refers to the topics that will be discussed at the meeting. The statutory definition of notice in the Open Meetings Act requires the notice to include the topics to be discussed at the meeting in addition to the time, place and date the meeting will occur.
